A Legacy of Excellence

When we back the Saints, we are backing a legacy that is unrivalled in Alberta junior hockey. This franchise is a survivor--the only one remaining from the inception of the AJHL before their bold move to the BCHL in 2024.

From their roots as the Edmonton Movers in 1963 to their Centennial Cup win as the Mets in 1975, and the dominant years in St. Albert, this team has always been about excellence. Over 50 alumni have graduated to the NHL, including legends like Mark Messier, Stu Barnes, and Mike Comrie.

Today, playing out of the beautiful new Thompson Family Arena, the Saints are writing a new chapter in the BCHL. They are facing tougher competition and raising the bar for Junior hockey in Western Canada.
